The UD 4 and UDT clamping plates are designed as special technical accessories for machine tools, but can also be used as a field, table or pad for large and heavy parts, for example in the alignment or laying out of parts. The clamping plate is used to clamp the workpiece according to the needs of the machining technology and several of them to create a large and consistent clamping field made of an appropriate number of clamping plates as the customer may need.

A clamping field can only be built of clamping plates of the same type, as it is not possible to combine different types of UD 4 plates (type 1 with type 2 or type 3).

The clamping plate or clamping field enables the clamping of particularly large and heavy workpieces or even workpiece carriers (clamping tables, positioners, jigs, etc.). The clamping plate is mounted on the concrete base of the machine analogously to the machine itself.

Basic technical description

The body of the clamping plate is made as a rigid casting of grey cast iron.

The clamping plate is stably anchored to the concrete base of the machine using anchoring material.

We offer clamping plates (UD) in variants:

UD in the form of a casting with basic surface treatment. The customer can machine the plate as they see fit;

UD as a roughly machined casting ready for final machining according to process needs;

Fully machined UD according to the customer’s specifications.

Clamping angles of sizes 800 mm to 4500 mm are intended as special technological accessories for machine tools (horizontal boring machines). Used to clamp the workpiece in a vertical position. They are clamped directly to the clamping table/plate

Clamping angles UU 800 – UU 4500 are made of high-quality gray cast iron and their structural design ensures high rigidity.

We offer clamping angles (UU) in variants

UU in the form of a casting with a basic surface finish. The customer can machine the angle on his own. UU as a rough casting ready for final machining according to the needs of the technology. UU completely machined according to the customer’s wishes.
