Cleaning of Castings

After cooling, the castings are cleaned using the following machines:  
  • Shake-out grid and regeneration of furan binder system:
  • WÖHR shake-out grid
  • Active area size 3 x 6 m
  • Load capacity 25 t
  • Output: 20 t of sand mass/hour
  • WÖHR vibrofluid sand cooler
  • Furan binder system regeneration capacity: 10 t/h
  • Surface blasting station:
  • SCHLICK shot blasting machine
  • Chamber blasting machine with manual operation
  • Cabin dimensions: 9 x 4.2 x 4.2)
  • Abrasive – cast iron/steel grit
  • STEM overhead blasting machine with overhead conveyor
  • 4 blasting turbine assemblies
  • Maximum size of piece: 1.5 x 3.2 m
  • Weight of piece: 2.5 t
  • Abrasive used: steel grit
